I just started making my bugs again! The bottom three were made about two years ago, but gradually I stopped rummaging through the dirt, so I only had those three. A few days ago we found a cicada dying on our porch screen, so I took a picture and put it in our potted plants to live its last few minutes. It's kind of beautiful, all of these bugs were either found dead or were dying, so technically none of them had any harm done to make these pictures. They are a kind of homage to my love of scientific and classification artwork. I think I might start making botanical pictures as well! Prints are for sale, 6x6 is $10, price goes up with the size!
