Update, y'all.

Hello.  There are a few things currently going on that I will relay to you here.  Firstly, I finished applying for my permanent resident visa last Thursday.  This thing took all of last year and this year to compile; huge bulky forms to fill out, pictures of Tom and me (it is a de facto partnership visa), bills, leases, receipts, statutory declarations, the whole fifty billion yards.  Oh, and just a spare 3 thousand dollars.  Yeah.  No big deal.
Now it is out of my hands and in the hands of the Australian government.

I also have news about my job.  I am now working 5 days a week taking care of Eli for D and Fil.  I am one lucky girl.  I get to work with the most wonderful family, in a beautiful home (which I will be taking pictures of one of these days to show here) hanging out with the best little kid on the planet.  And Fil makes arguably the best cup of coffee in Brisbane, so yeah, there's that too.

My prints for the exhibition on June 9th are printed and at the framers now.  I can't wait to get them back, they are going to look stunning.  I chose a walnut brown flat frame, the same colour as my Oma's parquet floors.  The frame suits the work perfectly.  I did have to mentally and financially prepare myself for the cost of the frames though, because there are 26 images, and that is a lot of frames.  It seems like I am just bleeding money these past couple of weeks, therefore I am on a spending hiatus.  I will only buy food for myself and the cat.  That's it, I literally cannot afford anything else.  Just until the exhibition is over, then I can go back to being the fiscally irresponsible 21 year old you all know and I'm assuming love.

Here are some pictures to accompany the words.
